Not all of these mediums always work in the way you expect, but with a little practice things get easier, especially when see the connection to another medium that seemed difficult in the past. Often, when you first become introduced to a new medium like sewing, 3D printing, and CAD software there is a slight learning curve. Being able to break down a project into it's components is critical for makers and creators.
